The frustration

Parker Bomar's neighborhood experienced an unfortunate incident when their amenity complex, designed by a famous architect was tragically burned down. While they had original blueprints of the facility, the real structure had deviated over time from the initial plans. The task was now to recreate the building, paying homage to its unique architectural features and history. For this, photos showcasing the amenity complex in all its glory were required. These photographs were scattered among the community members, many of whom weren't tech-savvy.

Parker sent out a request to about 300 people in his neighborhood, seeking their photographs of the facility.
Through DropEvent's user-friendly platform, even the least tech-savvy neighbors could upload their pictures with ease. This resulted in a collection of 300-400 photos from about 20 contributors.
These photographs will serve as a pivotal reference point for the contractors and architects working to rebuild the complex. Parker and the neighborhood continue to use DropEvent to gather more specific or detailed photos based on the builders' requirements.

Took me a few hours of research to find a website that would work well to collect and display photos and videos from a recent high school reunion. There are a lot of photo-sharing websites out there but most seem to be designed either for professional photographers or to display photos live during an event. You can add captions and choose whether to display photos with small thumbnails or larger images. You can set up your page with a password so only your classmates have access to the images and, if they want, you can set it up so that they can download any photos or videos they like.
