This nonprofit organizes endurance adventures to help survivors turn their setbacks into comebacks.

On their 50-ish mile hikes, the crew was accustomed to participants taking countless photos with their phones.

After the event, everyone wanted not only their own pictures but everyone else’s. The process to collect and share these pictures was cumbersome, especially after their previous service, shutterfly.com, discontinued its shared folder feature. This left the PAF team seeking a practical alternative to ensure that memories were easily accessible to all participants.

Upon discovering DropEvent, participants could easily upload pictures straight from their phones, making the sharing process instantaneous. Not only was it efficient, but the group's response to this method was overwhelmingly positive.

For Project Athena’s epic Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim hike across the Grand Canyon, DropEvent served as an ideal platform for 30 hikers to share and access photos on the go. Took me a few hours of research to find a website that would work well to collect and display photos and videos from a recent high school reunion. There are a lot of photo-sharing websites out there but most seem to be designed either for professional photographers or to display photos live during an event. You can add captions and choose whether to display photos with small thumbnails or larger images. You can set up your page with a password so only your classmates have access to the images and, if they want, you can set it up so that they can download any photos or videos they like.
